The Character of Steel

In this work, the automobile is presented not as an object of nostalgia, but as a character in its own right. The frontal composition, the weight of the bodywork, and the cold light of the headlights create a sense of strength contained within metal. Painterly fragmentation blurs the boundary between the car, light, and the urban environment, leaving what matters most: form, tension, and the memory of movement.

**Lines of Motion** is a series about the automobile as character, form, and a trace of time. Here, the car is not treated as an object of technical admiration or a literal illustration of speed. At the center is its sculptural presence: the tension of the bodywork, the light of the headlights, reflections on metal, the geometry of grilles, the line of the hood, the trace of the road, and the energy of motion held within a still image. Each work is conceived as a portrait: through a fragment, an angle, and painterly texture, the individuality of the car emerges — its era, strength, temperament, and distinct visual voice.
